St. John’s University, Queens NY

From August 2011 to May 2013 I had the privilege to be a Graduate Assistant at the St. John’s University Queens Campus Library. During my time at St. Johns I worked in a variety of departments including Instructional Services, Archives, outreach, Reference, Circulation, Serials and Preservation. Baruch College, New York NY

From December 2013 to May 2015 I was responsible for reference and organization of the Baruch Faculty Publications database. I would ensure that the citation information and proxy data for each citation was correctly formatted and functioning. Below you will find a link to my work.

Touro College, New York NY

From October 2014 to August 2017 I maintained the position of Librarian for Touro College at their Lander College for Women division. I was responsible for daily reference and instruction to Touro students and faculty. This included creating helpful library guides for a variety of topics. I also submitted informative and entertaining articles to the Touro Library Blog.

Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York NY

From August 2017 to Present I hold the position of Instructor/ Reference Librarian for BMCC. I am responsible for regular library instruction session to teach students how to conduct efficient academic research. I oversee outreach to the BMCC student body. This responsibility includes creating and marketing of library events, facilitating library events and representing the library to student organizations. I maintain regular reference shifts which include in-person, one on one appointments and through our online question service.
